About the Owner

My name is Jay Schulte and I have been interested in renewable energy ever since I graduated from NDSU in 2009 with an Electrical Engineering degree. After completing college I moved back to my hometown, Bismarck, ND, and began a career in the electrical distribution field. Shortly after I began working in ND, I found myself going back to college to study my true passion, renewable energy. This time around, I attended a Masters program at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where I worked with many different aspects of renewable energy. Whether it was a solar electric, solar thermal, hydro, bio-fuels, or wind systems, AppState covered the widest range of renewable technologies. Solar electric systems, also known as photovoltaic (PV) systems, became my biggest interest while attending school in the south and I dreamed of bringing this technology back to my home state.

We currently team up with local expert roofing and electrical contractors to ensure that each PV installation meets local and national code.
